Mach, Gage, and Hill Help Hurricanes to Second Win

ADAMS, Mass — The Hurricanes amassed 240 yards of rushing to win 19-6 over visiting Monument (0-3) on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Tyler Mach led the charge for Hoosac (2-1) with 112 yards rushing and two touchdowns.  Mach took advantage of his first carry of the day taking it 64 yards for a touchdown to give his team an early lead that they would not relinquish.

Juniors Colby Gage and Ian Hill contributed to the ground game as well finishing with 54 and 53 yards, respectively.  Hill put the game out of reach with a five-yard touchdown run in the 4th quarter.

Hoosac will face its toughest test of the season when they take on defending Div. 3 superbowl champion Mount Greylock (3-0) Friday night at 7 p.m. in Williamstown.
