Rich, Dempsey Lead Pittsfield Boys Past Hoosac

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Jackson Rich and Evan Dempsey scored three goals apiece Thursday afternoon to lead the Pittsfield boys soccer team to a 6-1 win over Hoosac Valley at Kirvin Park. 

The Generals (5-0-2) took a 2-1 lead into half-time. 
 
Nate Robarge had a couple of assists, and Luke Dallenbach set up a goal. 
 
Keagan McGrath scored for Hoosac (2-2-1) in the sixth minute to make it 1-1 at the time. 
 
Pittsfield, which has 12 goals in its last two games, has a tough test Saturday when West Springfield comes to call for a 1 p.m. contest. 
 
The Hurricanes host Lenox on Monday.
