SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Nathaniel VonRuden score midway through the first half, and the Mount Everett boys made that lead hold up for a 1-0 win over Drury on Friday.

Patrick Silk made five saves to earn the shutout win in goal.

"It was a good hard fought game but a goal snuck in for them and we could not score on our opportunities," Drury coach John Jacobbe said. "Corbin Rumbolt made a huge penalty kick save in the first half to keep it 1-0 but after several chances in the second half the 1-0 lead held up."

Rumbolt made three stops for the Blue Devils (3-2), who go to Monson on Saturday.

Mount Everett (2-1) is at Taconic on Tuesday.
