NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Nick LaForest scored two goals Thursday to lead the McCann Tech boys soccer team to a 4-2 come-from-behind win over Franklin Tech.

"The first half, we had our chances to score but found ourselves down, 1-0, going into the break," McCann Tech coach John Bresett said. "I told the kids at half-time that we needed to switch gear and move the ball and make [defenders] commit to pass around them."

Carter Foucher scored from 25 yards out to start the second half. LaForest then scored to tie to give the Hornets a lead.

After Franklin Tech tied it, Omar Uqdah earned a penalty kick and converted it to put the Hornets on top for good. LaForest added a second goal in the closing moments for the final margin.

Andrew Levesque made four saves to earn the win in goal.

McCann Tech (2-1) goes to Mohawk Trail on Monday.
