Mount Everett Boys Improve to 4-0

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Matt Morehouse scored two goals, and Cavan Brady had three assists as the Mount Everett boys soccer team defeated Hampden Charter, 5-0, on Wednesday.
 
Brady assisted on the game's first three goals, which were scored by Dan Litchfield, Nick Tomich and Brendan Dempsey.
 
Morehouse tacked on goals in the last 12 minutes as the Eagles improved to 4-0.
 
"The team is playing well," Mount Everett coach Joshua King said. "We had some mental breakdowns today, but that is expected with playing four games in five days. We'll take an off day tomorrow and get ready for Drury in another pivotal Southern Division game on Friday.
 
"I'm proud of how we'll we're playing as a team, but we have a lot of improving to do to get to the next level as players and as a team."
 
Ryan Meyer made six saves to earn the shutout on Wednesday.
 
That game against Drury on Friday is scheduled for 4 p.m. in Sheffield.
