Mount Everett Boys Qualify for Western Mass

CHICOPEE, Mass. -- Graham Collopy and Nick Tomich each had a goal and an assist as the Mount Everett boys soccer team on Monday defeated Hampden Charter, 4-1, and punched its ticket for the Western Massachusetts tournament.
 
Four different players scored for the Eagles (8-2-2), who led 3-0 early in the second half.
 
Cavan Brady got the scoring started with an assist from Collopy. Brendan Dempsey put Mount Everett up 2-0 with an assist from Tomich.
 
Eduardo Rodriguez and Nikos Casivant assisted on second-half goals, and Ryen Meyer made two saves to earn the win in goal.
 
Mount Everett goes to BCC to face Taconic on Wednesday.
