Racette Scores Twice as Drury Boys Stay Unbeaten

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Reece Racette scored two goals Tuesday to lead the Drury boys soccer team to a 3-2 win over Mount Everett.
 
Racette scored twice in the first 22 minutes to give the Blue Devils (4-0) a 2-0 lead.
 
But Mount Everett answered with a goal from Dan Litchfield to get within one.
 
Jonah Miles set up Jon Boland just before half-time to get some insurance for the Blue Devils.
 
Midway through the second half, Litchfield scored his second, but Drury keeper Brian Christian (seven saves) and the Blue Devils' defense were able to preserve the one-goal lead.
 
Patrick Silk made seven stops for the Eagles (2-1), who travel to Berkshire Community College to face Taconic on Thursday afternoon.
 
Drury travels to Adams to face Hoosac Valley on Thursday under the lights at Renfrew Field.
