Daniels Scores Pair to Lift Pittsfield Boys

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Justice Daniels scored a pair of goals on Saturday to lead the Pittsfield boys soccer team to a 3-0 win over Taconic at Kirvin Park.
 
Daniels got the game-winner in the 19th minute off an assist from Freddy Lopez.
 
Late in the half, Charlie Heimann set up Luke Peplowski, who made it 2-0.
 
Peplowski fed Daniels for his second goal in the last minute of the half.
 
Will Kinne made two saves to earn the shutout victory in goal.
 
Ian McGrath made 11 saves for Taconic.
 
Both teams are scheduled to start the post-season on Thursday in the Berkshire County playoffs -- Pittsfield in the North Division tourney and Taconic in the South.
