Herrmann Scores Pair as Hoosac Boys Top Putnam

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Isaac Herrmann scored a pair of goals Monday to lead the Hoosac Valley boys soccer team to a 4-1 win over Putnam.
 
The visitors struck first on a penalty kick early in the first half. Herrmann responded with a pair of goals on either side of half-time to give the Hurricanes the lead.
 
Tyler Norcross and Matt Tassone each scored to give Hoosac Valley some insurance.
 
Dylan Rohlfs and Ian Godfrey each recorded an assist for the Hurricanes (4-0-2), which hosts Pioneer Valley Christian on Tuesday.
