McCann Tech Boys Soccer Comes from Behind to Top Hoosac Valley

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Zack Gelinas scored early in the second half to give the McCann Tech boys soccer team a 3-2, come-from-behind win over Hoosac Valley on Friday.
 
The Hornets (1-0) scored two goals in the first two minutes of the half after going into the break down a goal.
 
Ivan Liang scored the tying goal less than a minute into the half and then set up Gelinas' game-winner.
 
Hoosac Valley (1-1) went ahead midway through the first half when Ian Godfrey converted an assist from Dylan Rohlfs.
 
Seven minutes later, Rohlfs scored a goal with an assist from Aiden Middlebrook to give the Hurricanes a 2-0 lead.
 
McCann Tech got on the board late in the half when Jack Cooper converted a penalty kick.
 
The Hornets will look for their secon win on Monday when they travel to Pioneer Valley Christian Academy.
 
Hoosac Valley Monday hosts Gateway.
