Wahconah Boys Top Drury

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- The Wahconah boys soccer team defeated Drury Monday afternoon, 5-1, earning its second win of the season at Drury High School.
 
The first of five goals came two minutes in from Hayden Cantoni giving the Warriors a 1-0 advantage.
 
In the 28th minute Isaac Voltoline put his team up 2-0; less the 10 minutes later the Blue Devil's responded with a goal from senior Logan Rumbolt.
 
Wahconah held a 2-1 lead going into half-time.
 
At minute 47, Shane Sinolpli added their third goal followed by a goal from Kyle Lyman to put them ahead 4-1.
 
The fifth was deemed as an own goal to secure the 5-1 victory for Wahconah.
 
Drury goalie Brian Christian has eight saves and Corbin Rumbolt had one. For Wahconah; Brayden Chevrilet had four saves in net.
 
Wahconah (2-8-1) travels to Berkshire Community College Tuesday evening to take on Taconic at 6 p.m. Drury (1-11-2) travels to St. Joe's Friday afternoon for a 4 p.m. start.
