This week's iBerkshires.com/Adams Community Bank Athletes of the Week are a pair of aces.

Wahconah's Caden Frazier has been red-hot of late of late, allowing just one hit in his last 14 innings on the mound.

On Saturday, May 25, he no-hit Monument Mountain in a 5-1 win, striking out 11 along the way.

Six days later at Hoosac Valley, Frazier threw a one-hitter that was arguably more impressive.

He carried a perfect game into the sixth inning and ended up allowing one hit and no walks while striking out 14 in a 3-0 win.

In both those wins, Frazier helped his own cause at the plate.

Against the Hurricanes, he drove in the first run of the game with an RBI double.

In Great Barrington, he went 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI.

Megan Goyette also supplied some of her own offense in her latest win, going 4-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBIs as she and her classmates celebrated Senior Day with a third straight McCann Tech win.

Goyette, of course, is best known for dealing out of the circle, where she allowed just four runs -- two unearned -- in three wins this week.

For the season, Goyette is pitching to a 2.13 earned run average and an 11-4 record for McCann Tech, which this week opens play in two tournaments: the State Vocational tournament and the Western Massachsuetts tourney.

"Megan's not an overpowering pitcher, but she's got a lot of movement on her pitches, and she's got different pitches," McCann Tech coach Robin Finnegan said earlier this year. "And it's hard to track sometimes because she uses the corners.

"She basically pitches to what the umpire is going to give her. She's a smart player like that."
