Huban Game-Winner Lifts Wahconah Boys at Mount Everett

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Kevin Huban scored in the 55th minute to give the Wahconah boys soccer team a 2-1 win over Mount Everett on Friday afternoon.
 
Wahconah jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Colby Lennon scored in the 13th minute.
 
That lead held until 10 minutes into the second half, when David Bautista-Cruz set up Eduardo Rodriguez for the equalizer.
 
Huban’s game-winner made a winner of Wahconah keeper Jack Perenick, who had five saves.
 
Michael Devoti made seven stops for Mount Everett (6-5-2), which goes to Hoosac Valley on Tuesday.
 
Wahconah (10-4) hosts Mount Greylock on Monday.
