Hetherington Scores Tying Goal as Mounties Battle Agawam to a Draw

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Eamon Hetherington scored midway through the second half to give the Mount Greylock boys soccer team a 1-1 tie against Agawam on Tuesday night.
 
After a scoreless first half, the visitors scored in the 48th minute
 
Five minutes later, George Munemo set up Heatherington for the tying goal.
 
“Some ties feel like wins and others feel like losses, but this one leaned toward the win side,” Mount Greylock coach Blair Dils said. “Agawam is talented so we did well to limit them to one goal. Eamon Hetherington continues to be Johnny-on-the-spot in the box with his fourth goal of the season."
 
Dan Warren stopped five shots in Mount Greylock’s goal.
 
The Mounties (4-4-5) go to Lenox on Thursday.
