WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Grant Raphael had a goal and two assists to lead the Mount Greylock boys soccer team to a 5-0 win over Wahconah on Thursday afternoon.

Five different players found the back of the net for the Mounties (3-0).

Eric Hirsch scored the eventual game-winner in the eighth minute. He was followed by Dan Flynn, Sam Dils, Raphael and David Majetich.

Hirsch also had an assist, as did Ian Brink and Benni McComish.

"We were able to get our backs forward and into the offense tonight," Mount Greylock coach Blair Dils said. "Ian [Brink] made a great run down the left side and played the ball perfectly in to Eric Hirsch for the first goal. Ian may be a back, but he's a serious threat as a scorer and ball striker."

In the last minute of the first half, Wahconah lost senior Kevin Boino with an ankle injury. Dils said the visitors lost a little of their offensive punch after his departure.

"It's a shame to see a player of Kevin's quality have to leave the game," Dils said. "He's so dangerous every time he touches the ball, and he's such a big part of the Wahconah offense. It will be best for Berkshire County soccer if Kevin's injury is minor and he returns to the field soon."

Cal Filson and H. Maxwell Joy split time in goal for Mount Greylock. Filson had the Mounties' only save.

Mount Greylock travels to Taconic on Monday.

Wahconah (1-2) travels to face Pittsfield on Tuesday.
