WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Brady Foehl scored two goals nine minutes apart midway through the second half on Saturday night to give the Mount Greylock boys soccer team a 4-2 win over Manchester, Vt.’s, Burr & Burton Academy.

The Mounties (6-3-1) got the scoring started when Luke Swann set up Naka O’Connor in the 10th minute.

The Bulldogs answered, but Jeffrey Bath scored with an assist from Foehl to put Mount Greylock up, 2-1, at half-time.

Again, Burr & Burton evened things up, but three minutes later, Foehl scored on a rebound off a corner kick for the game-winner. He used a Sam Dils assist on a restart in the 68th minute to give the Mounties some insurance.

“Sam Edge (five saves) made a number of good plays in difficult, wet conditions,” Mount Greylock coach Blair Dils said.

The Mounties have another independent game on Monday, this time traveling to Ludlow, before returning to Berkshire County North play on Friday at Pittsfield.
