Pittsfield Boys Score Late to Earn Tie at Mount Greylock

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Avi Snowise made nine saves Friday night to help the Pittsfield boys soccer team earn a 2-2 tie against Mount Greylock.
 
The Generals (4-4-2) got goals from Dylan Thompson and Gabe Rich.
 
Mount Greylock’s goals came from Brady Foehl and Quinn Johnstadt but gave up a goal out of a scramble with 3 minutes, 23 seconds left to settle for the tie.
 
It was a frustrating night all the way around for the Mounties, who hit three posts at the offensive end.
 
Sam Edge made two saves for Mount Greylock (5-2-2), which hosts West Springfield on Thursday.
 
Pittsfield goes to Ludlow on Monday.
