LONGMEADOW, Mass. -- The Mount Greylock boys soccer team Tuesday got an early-season test from 2018 Western Mass Division 1 finalist Longmeadow, which jumped out to a three-goal half-time lead en route to a 5-0 victory.

"Longmeadow is a mature, skillful and attacking-minded team," Mount Greylock coach Blair Dils said. "They're very, very good defensively and offensively. They're going to give many teams trouble this year. They exposed some weaknesses that we will need to improve upon in a hurry."

Joe Cardaropoli scored twice, and Mike Willis had a pair of assists for the Lancers.

Oscar Low made eight saves for the Mounties (0-1), who go to BCC to face Pittsfield under the lights on Friday.
