Quinn McDermott Hat Trick Leads Mount Greylock Boys to Semis

TURNERS FALLS, Mass. -- The Mount Greylock boys soccer team has had a lot of frustration on the offensive end this season.
 
On Monday, the Mounties took it out on Franklin Tech.
 
Quinn McDermott had a hat trick, and six different Mount Greylock players scored in a 9-0 win over the Eagles in the quarter-finals of the Class C Western Massachusetts tournament.
 
Diego Galvez scored twice, and Josh Rudin, Liam O’Keefe, Luca Hirsch and Christian Sullivan each found the back of the net. Sullivan setup three goals in the win.
 
Dan Warren and Lex Anagnos combined on the shutout win in goal.
 
Mount Greylock travels to Pathfinder on Wednesday afternoon in the regional semi-finals.
