Henderson Scores Twice as Monument Mountain Advances

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Erving Henderson scored a pair of goals Saturday to lead the Monument Mountain boys soccer team to a 3-1 win over Sturgis Charter West in Division 4 State Tournament.
 
Jackson Potoski scored a goal for the seventh-seeded Spartans, who advanced to the Sweet 16, where they will host No. 10 Pope Francis on Wednesday.
 
David Flynn and Hudson Manzonlini each had an assist.
 
Luke Arienti stopped six shots for Monument Mountain, which outshot Sturgis by a margin of 16-7.
