Defensive Stand-out: David Majetich

"Our goal tonight was to get the two points and ensure a tie for the North title. It's out of our hands now and we look forward to see what happens in the Pittsfield and Wahconah game tomorrow."

"Once again our defending was very good. The one breakdown we had--late in the second half with our lead at 2-0--Cal Filson made his two best saves of the season. Had Taconic broken through right there, the ending of the game would have been very much in the balance."

"Eric [Hirsch] did a very nice job of finishing with his two goals. Both were very well placed in the side netting. We've been working on finishing a lot in training, so to see him come through in those situations was very rewarding."

"It was great to see senior Dustin Chang score his first career goal. Dusty hasn't had many minutes this season due to a concussion, but he made the most of his chance tonight. His one time finish off a corner underneath the crossbar is a goal he'll never forget."

"We look forward to our match with Drury on Monday. They're not a team to take lightly as Coach Caproni does a great job with those boys. I'm sure they'll approach the game as if it's a playoff game, so we had better be ready to play on their narrow home field."
