SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Pope Francis boys soccer team built a 4-0 lead at half-time and went on to a 7-2 win over Mount Greylock on Tuesday in the season opener for both teams.

 

Koffi Roberts and Everett Crowe each scored a goal for the Mounties in the second half.

 

Mount Greylock (0-1) is off until Sept. 12, when it faces Burr and Burton of Manchester, Vt., at the Mount Anthony Tournament in Bennington.
