SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- The Hoosac Valley boys soccer team tied Mount Everett Wednesday afternoon 1-1.

 

Mount Everett's Nick Tomich opened the scoring with 8 minutes, 30 seconds to go in the first half to go ahead 1-0; Jack Carpenter and Dan Litchfield earned the assists.

 

Hoosac came out in the second half and added one of their own from Steven Crouch.

 

Neither team was able to break the tie, the Eagles (5-0-1) had opportunities, but the Hurricanes' defense held their own.

 

Hoosac (2-1-2) hosts Taconic Friday afternoon. Mount Everett travels to McCann Monday.
