PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Ryan Abel scored a pair of goals Friday to lead the Taconic boys soccer team to a 3-0 win over St. Joseph.

 

Anthony Arace scored a goal, and Colin Connors, Abdul Ahmed and Nick Donahue each recorded an assist.

 

Cody Latimer made five stops to earn the shutout in goal for Taconic (3-8-1), which goes to Brattleboro, Vt., on Saturday.

 

Jack Perenick made 14 stops for the Crusaders.
