.jpg) WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Izzy LaCasse had a hat trick for the McCann Tech girls soccer team in a 5-5 tie at St. Mary’s on Thursday.
The Hornets (4-0-2) jumped out to a 4-1 half-time lead before the hosts were able to strike back with four goals of their own.
LaCasse also had an assist for McCann Tech.
Gabby Schneider scored the Hornets’ other two goals. Molly Boyer had two assists, and Dana Canales set up a goal.
Keeper Savanah Reynolds had 16 saves in the McCann Tech goal.
The Hornets go to Springfield Commerce on Tuesday.
