Monument, Wahconah Girls Battle to a Draw

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- The Monument Mountain and Wahconah girls soccer teams each scored goals from distance in the second half Friday for a 1-1 tie.
 
First, Molly Flynn's corner kick curled in to give the Spartans a 1-0 lead.
 
Then Chloe Accardi scored on a free kick from outside the 18 that hit the upper 90 on the far post.
 
The Spartans (6-3-1) goes to Wahconah for a rematch on Tuesday.
