Late Goal Lifts Central Girls Over Pittsfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Ava Salvador scored in the 62nd minute to break a 2-2 tie and send the Springfield Central girls soccer team on to a 3-2 win over Pittsfield on Tuesday.
 
Liz Swanson had a goal and an assist, and Allie Schnopp scored for the Generals, who took a 2-1 lead early in the second half.
 
Pittsfield (5-9-1) hosts Monument Mountain on Friday.
