LEE, Mass. — The Lady Generals came out and controlled the game right from the get go. The passing and movement going through the Lee defense was amazing to watch. Every pass had a purpose, every girl ran hard for the ball. The pressure was constant and the goals would soon follow.

Junior Nicole Alfonsi started the scoring in the 6th minute, taking a pass from sophomore Taylor Patti and putting it in the net. Patti then set up senior Courtney McLaughlin for the second goal just a minute later. Alfonsi received the third assist from Patti in the 8th minute and just like that it was 3-0 Pittsfield. Lauren Finnegan's Lady Wildcats (5-5-1) continued to work hard and got a few chances but goalkeeper Allie Hunt kept Lee from scoring.

The half ended 3-0 but the second half was more of the same. Allie Supranowicz scored on a penalty kick in the 47th minute. A few minutes later Alfonsi set up senior Sydney Deluce for the fifth goal and junior Kara Alfonsi landed the final score of the day to make it a 6-0 win for Pittsfield (11-0-2).

Lee will visit Mount Greylock on Thursday Oct. 11 at 6 p.m. while Pittsfiled will travel to Mt. Anthony Union High School on Oct. 15 at 4:30 p.m.
