Jamross' Hat Trick Lifts Hoosac Valley Girls

LEE, Mass. -- Sydni Jamross had a hat trick Wednesday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls soccer team to a 6-3 win over Lee.
 
Samantha Loholdt scored a goal and set up two more, and Talia Rehill notched a goal in the win.
 
“Today Sydni set the tone for the team,” Hoosac Valley coach Kathy Budaj said. “She did a great job creating space and moved the ball well, and it was nice to see the goals as a result. Sam did a very nice job as well making some very nice passes.”
 
Lilly Boudreau and Maryn Capiello each had an assist for Hoosac Valley.
Lee got goals from Caroline Maloney, Ellie Miller and Lydia Simone. Bella Lovato made four saves in the loss.
 
Emma Meczywor and Rehill each made a pair of saves for Hoosac Valley.
 
The Hurricanes (3-4) are scheduled to play Drury on Thursday at Berkshire Community College.
 
Lee (0-4) hosts Monument Mountain on Friday.
