Drury Girls Earn Second Straight Win

LEE, Mass. -- The Drury girls soccer team earned its second straight victory Thursday afternoon, defeating Lee, 4-1.
 
The Blue Devils took an early lead in the first half putting in three goals.
 
Miranda Wissman opened the scoring for the Blue Devils followed by Jenna Moulton and Celene Koperek to hold a 3-1 lead going into half-time.
 
Lee's Karli Retzel put in their lone goal, assisted by Shannon Finnegan.
 
Drury added one more in the second half from Jill Tietgens leaving the final at 4-1.
 
Brianna Hawley had four saves in net for Lee, as did Drury goalie Katelyn Toomey.
 
Lee hosts Hoosac Valley Saturday at 11 a.m., and Drury host Mount Everett Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m.
