NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Shannon Finnegan and Karli Retzel each scored twice Wednesday to help the Lee girls soccer team earn a 5-0 win over Drury.

Mikayla DeSantis scored the only goal the Wildcats (1-3) needed in the eighth minute of the game. Retzel set up Finnegan to make it 2-0 just more than two minutes later.

“[Lee] came out strong, and their offensive speed allowed them to score two quick goals,” Drury coach Maryjane Rumbolt said. “We came out stronger in the second half and had some good opportunities but were unable to put the ball in the net.”

Brianna Hawley stopped five shots to earn the shutout in the Lee goal.

Alison Brassard had six saves for Drury (1-3), which goes to Lenox on Friday.

Lee hosts Berlin, N.Y., on Monday.
