SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Kayla McGrath had a hat trick, and Elli Miles set up all three goals Monday as the Drury girls soccer team defeated Mount Everett, 3-2.

McGrath scored her first goal in the first minute of the match and had two goals 10 minutes in.

“McGrath and Miles are a tough combo to guard based on our previous two meetings,” Mount Everett coach Joshua King said. “We came out flat in the first half, made some adjustments and played a much better game. Proud of the girls for not giving in when down two early and battled back. Had some chances just couldn't capitalize when we needed too.”

Emma Nardi and Emily Stuerernagle each scored for the Eagles to tie it. But McGrath scored in the 78th minute to send the Blue Devils on to the win.

Mackenzie Dobbert made six saves to get the victory in goal.

Emma Goewey made nine stops for Mount Everett (3-12-2), which goes to Lee on Wednesday.

Drury (6-9-2) is at Monument Mountain on Wednesday.
