SHEFFIELD, Mass — The Lady Wildcats (5-3-1) came out strong against the Eagles on Friday afternoon scoring the first four goals of the game, all in the first half.

"Controlled the game from the start, scored three goals in the first 20 minutes, that set the match" said head coach Lauren Finnegan. It took senior Victoria Murphy just 15 minutes to score twice, one in the 11th minute assisted by senior Moriah McKenna and the second in the 15th minute assisted from Nicole Beliveau. Beliveau followed with a goal of her own when Sarah Winston found her with a nice pass. Winston capped the scoring for Lee with a goal in the 22nd minute.

"This was a great match to see how our younger players can play together, as two of our starters where not available for this game. This game also allowed us to move players into other positions for practice, for future games" Finnegan said.

Mount Everett (3-7-0) got their only goal of the game in the 55th minute when Deserate Conway scored unassisted. Mount Everett plays host to Drury on Thursday Oct 11, at 4:30 pm while Lee will be home today to take on the powerful and undefeated Pittsfield Lady Generals.
