Mount Everett Girls Come Back on Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Gwen Carpenter and Maya Neski scored second half goals to lead the Mount Everett girls soccer team to a 2-1, comeback win over Taconic on Thursday.
 
Taconic went ahead midway through the first half when Gill Campbell set up Rachael Donahue.
 
In the 59th minute, Marion Devoti set up Carpenter to tie it. Then with four minutes left, Neski scored unassisted to win it for Mount Everett (5-5-1).
 
Mount Everett keeper Samantha Hoover Madison Ullrich made 22 saves to earn the win. Brooke Mangiardi made 10 stops for Taconic (3-8).
 
Taconic plays Pittsfield on Sunday afternoon. Mount Everett travels to North Adams to play McCann Tech on Friday.
