Field Day: Hoosac Girls Blank Drury

ADAMS, Mass. -- Hoosac Valley dominated Renfrew Field this evening in a 6-0 win against Drury.

 

Sophomore Fallon Field led the Hurricanes in scoring, netting the team’s first two goals of the first half.

 

The Hurricanes came back for more in the second half, adding four more goals to the board, coming from; senior Cali Romaniak, junior Abby Chaput, sophomore Olivia Bressett, and senior Marissa Felter.

 

"The Drury girls held on strong for the first half," Blue Devils coach Maryjane Rumbolt said. "Unfortunately, our second half got away from us. Hoosac came out stronger in the second half and was able to put in four more goals."

 

Hoosac travels to Pittsfield Monday afternoon to take on the Generals at 4 p.m. While Drury will be traveling to Monument Mountain for a 4:30 kickoff.
