Southwick Blanks Hoosac Valley

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Southwick-Tolland's Sabrina Provost scored in the fifth minute to lead her team to a 1-0 win over Hoosac Valley on Saturday.

 

"It was a great game by both teams," Hoosac coach Kathy Budaj said. "Everyone played hard. Unfortunately, we just could not put our opportunities in the net."

 

Kailynne Frederick had Seven saves for the Hurricanes (4-10-1), who outshot their visitors by a margin of 10-8.

 

Hoosac Valley hosts Lee on Monday.
