Balanced Scoring Leads Hoosac Valley Girls over Lee
CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Five different players scored a goal for the Hoosac Valley girls soccer team in Monday’s 5-0 win over Lee.
Claudia Bresett, Shaleigh Levesque and Jess Halverson each had a goal and an assist, and Sydni Jamros and Ellie Field each scored a goal.
“It was good to see the girls work together and have so many players contributing to the scoring,” Hoosac Valley coach Kathy Budaj said. “Lee's goalie played a great game.”
Brianna Hawley stopped 22 shots for the Wildcats (2-2), who go to Granby on Wednesday.
Hoosac Valley (3-1) goes to Pittsfield on Tuesday.
