Palmer Girls Top Hoosac Valley for Eighth Straight Win

PALMER, Mass. -- The Palmer girls soccer team defeated Hoosac Valley, 4-0, on Tuesday to extend its eight-game winning streak.
 
“We lost 4-0, but it was a great game,” Hoosac Valley coach Kathy Budaj said. “The girls were doing a lot of nice things on the field.
 
“They played a much more controlled game and were finding the open players and making some great connections.”
 
Madalyn Therieault scored three goals for Palmer (8-1).
 
Emma Meczywor stopped 13 shots for Hoosac Valley (0-10), which goes to Springfield Central on Thursday.
