Barrett, Orpin Lead Mount Greylock Girls Past Lenox

LENOX, Mass. -- Kelsey Orpin had a goal and two assists, and the Mount Greylock girls soccer team won a 6-4 shootout at Lenox on Monday.
 
Lucy Barrett scored twice for the Mounties, who also got a goal and an assist from Melissa Swann.
 
Lenox's Sandra Arace (three goals) got the Millionaires (2-6) on the board in the seventh minute, but Mount Greylock stormed back with four straight goals, the first two from Barrett.
 
It was a 5-2 Mount Greylock lead at half-time, but Tova Brown set up Arace in the first minute of the second half to get Lenox within two.
 
Ada DeGooyer scored to make it a three-goal game again, but Brown (one goal, two assists)and Arace hooked up once more midway through the half to finish the scoring.
 
Charlotte Rand made five saves for Mount Greylock (4-3), which hosts Hoosac Valley on Wednesday.
