LUDLOW, Mass. -- The Ludlow girls soccer team broke a scoreless tie in the 46th minute and went on to a 2-0 win over Pittsfield on Wednesday.

Morgan Foye scored both goals for the hosts.

The second goal came with 2 minutes, 20 seconds on the clock, after the Generals started pushing players up the field in an attempt to get the tying goal.

"This was a good measuring stick for us against a very solid Ludlow team," PHS coach Andy Waluszko said. "We need to play these division 1 teams outside of the county because these will be the teams we face in the Western Mass Division 1 tournament."

Allie Hunt made six saves for Pittsfield (10-2), which hosts South Hadley on Friday at Kirvin Park.
