West Springfield Girls Put Away Pittsfield in Second Half

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- The West Springfield girls soccer team scored three second-half goals to put away a 4-0 win over Pittsfield on Saturday afternoon.
 
The hosts' Chelsea Hoey scored in the 14th minute to provide all the offense her team needed on a hot afternoon on the artificial turf at West Springfield.
 
Megan McMahon had two second-half scores.
 
Pittsfield's Bella Arace made 16 saves.
 
The Generals (0-1) host Easthampton on Tuesday.
