DALTON, Mass. -- Wahconah scored four goals in the first half and walked off with a 4-0 win over Mahar in the Western Massachusetts Division 3 quarterfinals on Saturday night.

Four different players scored for second-seeded Wahconah, which got eight saves from keeper Kayla Kawalczyk.

At the other end, Mahar's Elysha Bedard was credited with 28 saves, including some ridiculous stops in the second half to deny Wahconah's offensive pressure.

The game's first goal came off the foot of Arden McKnight with help from Jocelyn Hill in the 12h minute.

Asi Graham, Hill and Amelia Dougherry each added a goal before half-time.

Wahconah (15-3-1) will meet No. 3 Southwick (10-7-1) in the sectional semi-finals. Southwick beat South Hadley, 2-1, on Saturday.
