Arace Named South MVP

After leading her team to the finals of the Western Massachusetts Division 4 Championship Game, Alessandra Arace was named the Berkshire County South Division MVP in a vote of the league's coaches.
 
Arace scored 20 goals for the Millionaires (13-5-3), including both goals in a come-from-behind win over Smith Academy in the WEstern Mass playoffs, one goal to help get Lenox to penalty kicks in the semi-finals and the only Lenox goal in a loss in the Western Mass final.
 
Arace has committed to attend Providence College next fall and play soccer for the Friars' Division I program.
 
Joining her on the all-South first team are Lenox teammates Tova Brown, Nicole Gamberoni, Jaclynn Hathaway and Rosemary Pehlert.
 
Lee sophomore Brianna Hawley is the first-team keeper. She is joined on the first team by fellow Wildcats Karli Retzel, Madeline Graziano, Kate Delsignor and Cara Walker.
 
Drury placed four players on the first team: Jill Tiegens, Celene Koperek, Liv Carlson and Molly Moulton.
 
Mount Everett's Gwendolyn Carpenter and Maura Robitaille each arned a spot on the first team, along with Taconic's Kristen Borelli and St. Joseph's Anita Curtin.
 
The all-South second team includes: Mount Everett's Maya Neski and Madison Ullrich, Lee's Shannon Finnegan and Mikayla DeSantis, Drury's Jenna Moulton and Katie Toomey, Taconic's Jade Schnauber and Jenna Bateman, St. Joe's Liz Bean and Kate Wiles and Lenox's Shannon Meisberger and Sarah Molk.
