LENOX, Mass. -- Nicole Gamberoni scored twice and set up a pair of goals, and the Lenox girls soccer team jumped out to a 6-0 lead en route to a 7-1 win over Lee on Friday night.

“Tonight was Senior Night at Lenox, and it was special to see all of our seven seniors involved in the outcome of the game, especially some of our senior defenders who don't often have a chance to get on the score sheet,” Lenox coach Kyle Zinchuk said. “Seniors Zenani Santos and Paige Looney each had their first goal/point of the season on great shots above the reach of the keeper from outside the 18. Senior Milly Hernandez scored the first goal of her career on a beautiful first touch shot from just above the penalty spot.”

Senior Julie Pehlert scored two, and classmate Shelby Lynch had a pair of assists. Senior Abby Schilling stepped into the goal in the second half and made four saves.

Sophie Patella made two stops in a clean first half.

Lena Simone got Lee on the board midway through the second with an assist from Caroline Maloney.

Halle Miller stopped 14 shots for the Wildcats (4-11-2).

Lenox (12-4-1) finishes the regular season at Taconic on Monday.
