LENOX, Mass. -- Erin Czelusniak scored with 11 minutes left to break a scoreless tie and send the Lenox girls soccer team on to a 1-0 win over Easthampton on Tuesday.

Solia Herndon-Schmid set up Czelusniak for the game-winner, capping a solid second half for the Millionaires and making a winner of keeper Taylor Knight, who made 10 saves.

“It was a competitive game with both teams getting some chances,” Lenox coach Kyle Zinchuk said. “Fortunately, we were able to convert on one of ours in the second half.

“I think we were able to put some more pressure on them in the second half and keep the ball in their end of the field, allowing us to generate more opportunities.”

Lenox (5-1) goes to Hoosac Valley on Thursday.
