DALTON, Mass. -- Tim Kaley and Pat McLaughlin each finished at 3-under par 32 Thursday to share medalist honors and lead the Wahconah golf team to a 142-196 win over Mount Everett at Wahconah Country Club.

McLaughlin birdied four holes -- the third, fifth, seventh and ninth.

Kaley registered three birdies, breaking par on the third, sixth and seventh holes.

"Pat McLaughlin and Tim Kaley tore up the front nine from a forward tee position," Wahconah coach Pete Terpak said. "Seven birdies between the two of them is impressive from any tee position. Since being paired together, the two have really fed off each other and played very well."

Brady Breitmaier birdied a pair of holes, the third and fifth, to finish at 38, and Carter Drake rounded out the scoring with a 40.

Mount Everett was led by Sam Fife with a 42. Nick Lupiani (48), Finn Vion (51) and Gabe Fahey (55) rounded out the scoring for the Eagles.

Wahconah (13-0) finishes the dual match season on Friday at home against Monument Mountain before sending its top individuals to Stockbridge Golf Club on Sunday for the Berkshire Classic.

"With the Classic at Stockbridge on Sunday and Western Mass fast approaching, its great to see our boys starting to play really solid golf," Terpak said. "A 142 may be the lowest score any of my teams have ever scored."
