Lee Boys, Girls Run Past Taconic

LEE, Mass. -- Brianna Kelly led a 1-2-3 sweep for the Lee High girls cross country team in a 25-31 win over Taconic on Saturday.
 
Kelly crossed the finish line in 22 minutes, 38.92 seconds, just less than a minute ahead of her teammate and runner-up, seventh-grader Emma Ranzoni (23:33.22).
 
Taconic’s Julia Latura led her team with a fourth-place finish, crossing the line in 24:29.94.
 
Lee also won the boys race with four finishers in the top five.
 
Taconic’s Owen McNeil placed first among the boys in 19:30.05. He was more than a minute ahead of Lee’s Aiden Fennelly (19:43.48).
