Axt, Roeder Lead Mount Greylock Golfers Over Wahconah

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Xander Axt and Paul Roeder each carded 7-under-par rounds of 43 Friday to lead the Mount Greylock golf team to a 174-194 win over Wahconah at Waubeeka Golf Links.

 

Axt got his day started with the day's only birdie, on the par-4 first hole.

 

The Mounties were the models of consistency with all six players finishing in the 40s.

 

Brayden Smith and Joe Jones scored with rounds of 44.

 

Dan Wilson led Wahconah with a 45, and Patrick McLaughlin finished at 46. Mike Cullett (49) and Emily Figiela (54) also scored.

 

The top golfers in Berkshire County will be Stockbridge Golf Club on Sunday for the Berkshire County Individuals.
