Wahconah Boys Swim Team Finishes Season Unbeaten

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Zach Archambault won a pair of races Friday to lead the Wahconah boys swim team to a 96-23 win over Hudson and a perfect 6-0 record in dual meets this season.
 
Archambault won the 100-yard freestyle in 1 minute, .60 seconds and took the 100 breaststroke in 1:18.40, just out-touching teammate Jacob Kunzman (1:18.80).
 
Archambault teamed with Liam Looney, Evan Strout and Cal Prett to take the day's narrowest win, in the 200 free relay, where they won in 2:07.35, 1 one-hundredth of a second ahead of the quartet of Jacob Kunzmann, Xavier Wellington, Wyatt Wellington and Brock Prett.
 
In the girls meet, Alex Bills won a pair of events, the 100 free (1:13.68) and the 100 breaststroke (1:36.19), to lead Wahconah to a 78-26 win.
 
Wahconah's girls ended their dual meet season with a 2-4 record.
