Lenox Boys, Mount Greylock Girls Pick Up Victories

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Ted Yee finished first to lead the Lenox boys cross country team to three dual meet wins, including a three-point victory over host Mount Greylock, on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Yee finished in 17 minutes, 41.09 seconds, eight seconds ahead of runner-up Ollie Swabey (17:49.48), a Mount Greylock eighth-grader.
 
The Millionaires placed four runners in the top 10 as Dennis Love finished fourth and Harry Touloukian and Maxime Legere were ninth and 10th, respectively.
 
Lenox’s boys won three dual meets in the five-team competition.
 
Mount Greylock’s girls won both their duals, including a seven-point victory over rival Lenox.
 
Katherine Swann led the way for the Mounties, finishing 47 seconds ahead of the field in a time of 19:37.97.
 
Pittsfield’s Kellie Harrington (20:25.45) was second, followed by Lenox’s Ava Bachman (20:37.63) and Grace Elliott in third and fourth.
 
The Mounties placed eight runners in the top 13. Grace Malone was fifth, Erin Keating was seventh, Jacqueline Wells was eighth and Cecilia Malone was 10th to round out the scoring.
 
Lenox’s girls earned a pair of dual wins against Pittsfield and Hoosac Valley.
 
Lee, behind a 25th-place finish from Anna Martin (23:31.43) defeated Hoosac Valley in their dual. The Hurricanes were led by Hannah Walsh (24:59.32).
 
Mount Greylock’s boys picked up a win over Lee, which was led by Zach Bianco (19:21.10) in eighth place.
 
Bianco and the Wildcats topped Hoosac Valley, which got a sixth-place showing from Justin Levesque (19:02.29).
